Citronella
Is it that yellow?or is that sunshine?very nice!
I just got this one this fall and am struggling to keep it alive. Hope I can because it really is a beauty.
Gosh, thats a pretty one Alice.
Oh Gosh Alice, I think you think that about all the brugs! LOL
I like the way the flower is shaped on that one.
Does it smell good? ...or like citronella?
NO ..Citronella smells GOOD.
Root, the sun is on it a bit. But is yellow, too. lol
In the pot next to RK ..it looks like the RK flower. But yellow!
I do like it (o:
Alice, Citronella is a sister to Golden Lady. Mme Neu and Mme Blin shared seeds out of this cross.
Wow that is great to know! Amazing isn't it, the differances in the same pod. Beautiful shot again.
Such a beautiful "sunshine" flower. Sure brightens a day!
Glad it smells good.
Gee, I did not know that ..lol
Yes, amazing!
Thank you, Monika (o:
No wonder I like it so much! Golden Lady is one of my very favourites (o:
First bloom Citronella was crossed to RK.
Can't wait to see what comes of that cross.
This time next year, I should know. ha
Beuatiful flower Alice,as is all of the ones you post pics of it seems. I think I need to come and raid your glass house one night!!! I'll have to wait til it gets a bit warmer though !!(LOL)
Is that a buddleah I see in the background behind citronella? I have several of those around the yard in spots,my white one gets HUGE here in the south.
This is my citronella shared with me by a friend this past fall. Growing nicely and hopefully come spring i'll see some flowers on her.
Some of my cuttings from my row run brugs are starting to Y in their pots and I can see little buds on them. These are the ones I took for myself to have a backup plant of since this is my first winter doing this and I don't have any idea which ones will winterover and which ones won't.
Great photo, Alice! You've done well with it. Mine is sitting naked in the basement.
Very beautiful Alice
Very pretty looks like some aurea in its background.Of course I can't tell for sure till I have one growing here at home. LOL :-)
