Rosamond or Rosemond ..does anyone know correct spelling?

I love this brug.
Love it's colours. Love it's tendrils.
It's vigor and how it blooms. Many blooms at once. And often (o:

Beautiful bloom Alice. I spell it Rosamond, but I don't know if that is right or not. I guess I never bothered to look it up and see. Hey, everyone knows who we are talking about anyway. LOL!! Those tendrils are something else. I'm going to try to cross my Rosamond and PB plants this year to see if I really do have two different plants. Have you don't that or can you see a big difference in the two?

and this is rosamond, notice the differance in how far the calyx goes down on pb as opposed to rosamond and they both always bloomed the way you see them in the pics.

Rosamond came from Susie and pb came from Logee's

Great pictures David. They sure do show a difference in the calyx.

Alice...your Rosamond is beautiful. It looks so cozy and happy. I'm excited to see a Rosamond bloom here. Are they fragrant?

David....your pics are so pretty! You sent me Pink Favorite back in late summer. I rarely see anything posted about this brug.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Beautiful Alice . . lucky you. It is hard to believe they are blooming in the ice house but I know it is warm in there.

David . . thanks for showing us the differences.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Definately one of the best! David great comparison shot!

Murrells Inlet, SC(Zone 8a)

You can't exactly see in the rosamond pic the true flower color but it is about the same as pb as far as that goes.

I like a few others here had plans on pollinating the 2 together but never had a day that both bloomed at the same time so maybe this bloom season i'll get to do that and then know for sure if these 2 are one in the same.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)
