He's gone. Of course, I cried. He was the best rooster pet I ever had. He was 3 years old. I know it's silly for me to cry for that rooster but I can't help. He was the best rooster/pet I had. He liked to be with me in the garden to search for bugs after I dug. He would protect me from anybody . Everytime we pull into drive way. He would run to us and spreaded his wings as he's happy to see us.
This morning, I went out to feed the chickens and noticed he's not on our backpatio as he usually there by the door as waiting for me to feed. He's not there. I thought he was somewhere with other chickens. We went out to eat for breakfast and came back. I told my children to go and find RedDevil. We all went and searched for him. Not find him. DH said he heard our dogs was barking out there last nite. He said the owl or coytoa must got him. He said he's going to build me a coop this spring or summer so we can get some more.
He was the best Rooster.
