recipe question

Bridgman, MI(Zone 5a)

In the Feb. 2004 edition of Better Homes and Gardens they have a recipe for Cherry Baby Cakes and since it sounded pretty good I thought I'd make it and thus saved the recipe. Reviewing it to ensure I had everything I needed on hand I noticed something odd in the powdered sugar icing ingredients and so I read it to my husband and asked his opinion as to what was wrong with this instruction:

"In a small bowl combine 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 tablespoons. Stir in additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until icing reaches drizzling consistency."

His reply was simple "Why couldn't you just use the same tablespoon twice".
