How much weight have you lost?

Ever hear that? It sounds so great. I lost lbs and everyone was , oh that's so great, you look wonderful, years younger, etc. All those wonderful things we all want to hear. Then as time goes on , we are not the star anymore, the big winner in our great loss. That's when the letdown comes. That's when the real battle begins when there is just our want to stay that smaller, but sometimes lonely, less happy self.This is the time when it really becomes the hardest. We all can be Rocky, win the big one, train to win. 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12, it is a contest, it has an end! How we want to live the rest of the time after, that's the hard part. Self-pride is the key. Feeling that you are the only one you have to answer to.I did it for my health, quality of life, and yes for the people I love. Tell yourself that, it will keep you going. Someday you won't have to.
