What a wonderful day! My first grandchild.....I am so excited, this is our little Xander Michael! He was born tonight at 8:49...weighed 8 lbs and was 19 1/2"! This is me, Xander, Chase (my son) and DH!!! Do we look proud? God is great, isn't he?

Welcome to grandparent hood. Oh yes, I know what your feeling right now as we went through it 1 1/2 yrs ago and have been having the best time. Being a grandparent is a whole different experience and you are going to LOVE it.

Brinda, you have a great looking family. Congrats on the birth of the first grandbaby. I have six and the oldest is 20 now. Do you have other children? You could have a house full of Grandbabies in no time. Bet you are loving this. Enjoy, they don't stay small long enough.

Oh yes.....God is great!!! We are so very happy here! Little Xander was a surprise for everyone! LOL
I was lucky enough to be in the delivery room when he entered this world....WOW did that bring back memories or what? And my son was such a trooper.....and told me today that Xander was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen! Chase is such a good person and has such a good heart, I know he will be a good daddy. And Kendall is the new mommy, she is just beaming!
Today was my 14 hour day and tomorrow is my 16 hour day, ugh...I won't see this little bundle of joy until Thursday! It's going to be difficult to wait that long. Thanks everyone for your kindness....we are so happy!

WOW such an exciting moment and I knew exactly what you were feeling. Babies are such precious gifts from God and there is nothing in the world that enriches my life more than that.
