Molly is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix (I strongly suspect she has some hound in her) that was abandoned at my vet's office on Christmas Day. She and another dog were pitched over into the fenced dog run area. Molly had a broken leg either from an accident or from being pitched over a high fence. She also was suffering from heart worms, was covered in scars from a previous dog fight and had brusing on her abdomen.
Through medication, surgery and a lot of TLC, Molly is recovering nicely. She is an extremely gentle soul and will make a wonderful companion. I didn't really need another dog, but my heart was touched and I just couldn't say no. My DH was wonderful and didn't say a negative word when I showed up, unannounced with her.
