White aurea ready to bloom...

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

I have a white aurea from seed thats about to bloom again and need pollen enough for about 7 flowers.I need aurea pollen if available.....I may still have some rosamond and pink beauty at home.A yellow such as Becca Lynn or similar would be fine. LMK if any is available. :-)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Wish I could help...but I didn't have blooms until fall and didn't even think to save much pollen. It was rare to see a yellow bloom here other than Charles Grimaldi.

Tropicman, it has a distinct aurea scent..kinda heavy almost a musky fragrance.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika, this plant was 4 years old before blooming..and nearly as high as a houseThen y'd last fall and had a few blooms..so I took a cutting below the y and potted it..it's now a more manageablemsize and starting to bloom better.Has almost pure aurea qualities...huge fuzzy leaves with serration, and smaller flowers although not a real small aurea size.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Thats typical for B. aurea. She has the strongest growth of all Brugmansias. RK pollen would be best to strenghten the aurea traits but I dont have any right now.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Well heres the first winter flower on this aurea seedling. The buds look deep yellow..then wham, it turns white. Very long spurs on this one.Alice shared pollen with me as did David and others. Thank you all.I will share seeds with those that sent pollen.

Monika I used the new Rothkirch pollen on the first flower...I am going to do at least 6 different crosses mostly aurea parents for the crosses.May do 1 or 2 versicolor crosses too.
