Looking for coleus cuttings for my DIL

Hot Springs, AR(Zone 7b)

My daughter in law is trying to get a coleus bed going in her new front yard. She likes the hot pinks, limes (Lime Light), and reds. But will take anyting. Looking for cuttings and or plants as I will be rooting them for her now so they'll be ready to plant by spring. She's pregnant for the first time in her life...and...with twins maybe tripletts. She'll find out if the third one is going to make it on Monday after seeing the specialist. The baby's heart rate was only 89 and its a problem because it is one of two that share the same placenta (identical twins), she's only 9 weeks into the pregnancy. We're hoping that two babies will make it...this is my son's first time at being a father! He's excited but she's is taking the possible loss of the weak baby pretty hard, she feels her body has let her baby down :-( My son is so cute, taking on all the house duties so Becki can concentrate on healthy babies. I think her coleus dream flower bed will cheer her up in the spring. At this point I don't know how much cheering up she will need, I just want to be ready.

Please respond here, my computer is down and I can't get to roadrunner...GRRRRR! But will check back here to see if we can trade. I do have lots to trade. Take a look at my list.

Daisy; I'm so sorry to hear your kids are having problems with their babies. You all will be in our prayers.

I've put a picture of a grouping of overgrown coleus. I can send you clippings of as many as you like. They all need to be trimmed back and you are welcome to the trimmings.

I think maybe I would like some cannas? email me.

Thanks,
Molly

Daisy, I am sending email to you office with details, however, if you are still on tonight, please give me your best coleus packing advise.

Hi Molly,

Still on...LOL! I live at Dave's!

I would just cut them and wrap the hole cutting in paper towels, wet that down, doesn't have to be soaking, just wet. Then stick it in a plastic bag or your wrap them in saran wrap if you don't have any plastic bags. Seal the bag to make sure the cuttings doesn't dry out. They will arrive in crips condition when I get them.

Thanks for trading,

Daisy
