We're having a birthday snow today! I've seen honey on it (in a bowl), snow angels in it, snow people being made as I speak, and for some reason there is a 'snow brick' project going on later. (Maybe for an igloo?)
Cold as cubes outside, warm as toast in the shoffice tho! Woodstove smoke contributes to the outdoor scenery (don'tcha just luv that wood smoke smell!). And inside, a big pot of chili is simmering to perfection and will be greeted with cornbread at suppertime!
Life is Good! Many thanks to you all! I hope you all have a Happy Birthday today, too! I'll share!!

Brugnanny...a great day. Playing in the snow. Good greetings from many. DG family. What more could I ask for!? (Oh yeh, don't tell anyone but...but...here'tis a momentous occasion and I..I...well, I confess, I actually put on some shoes to get me thru the snow today. Wore them for almost an hour!) (NO one recognized me!)
Shirley...yep, a few more hrs to go! Right now I'm headin' up to get my chili heated up, cornbread in the oven, and might even have a drinky-winky!

I stomped thru the snow! Thru the chicken pen! No one looked at me twice! (I did stare at one of the geese as she sat in the water trough tho, her feet in ice cold water and her face with a smile on it! I think it was a smile, maybe it was a grimace?)

You know what I say shoe, just add the 5+0 and you can be 5 again. Next year you get to be six. For as long as you live, you'll never be older than 18 and if you make it that far, your reward is to be one (1+0+0=1) the following year. :)
