Hi Y'all,
I've got the chance to be visiting Orlando, FL and I was curious if anyone knew of a good place to look for brugs or wander through a brug garden? Also, I like dats. I was thinking of a nursery or a garden center primarily. But, I've no idea what's here so I am open to any suggestions!
Thanks to anyone in advance!
Where to find brugs around Orlando?
I suggest you bring me with you and I'll sniff them out for ya......You'll never find them without me......LOL
Lol, CC! I wish I could but I am the extra luggage on this trip.
if you could sit in a car for 1 1/2 hours, call Lee at Native Habitat Ethnobotanicals in Vero Beach.
He has a 300 or so cultivar selection, and is just an all around neat guy.

Thanks, DeepRoots :) Does he sell at all? That's seems much closer than Milton where Gone2Seed is located.
OOOHHH native habitat is where you could possibly get Rothkirch.....and double peach.......
Now ya gotta take me......I don't eat much...com'mon!!!!
I thought Orlando outlawed brugs in the city proper a few years back? Maybe not..I know some areas of Florida forbid their use in the landscape because of the drug issues.
a law against eating Brugmansia?
gee ya figure the effects would be punishment enough.
I don't know if Lee is open to the public anymore...
worth dropping a line at any rate.
Okay, thanks everyone! I will try anyways... CC, just minaturize yourself and you are here!
Working on it!
Well, I emailed Lee and am just hoping he will read it SOON! Thanks again, Drew, for a possible great lead.
*adopts her nasal tone* its not fairrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr if cc gets to go I wanna go toooooooooo.
Maybe we can make some flat crestedchiks & playsndirt like Trish & Dave and then you can come along for certain! Probably not near as much though :(
