This may be directed towards GW or Howie, or anybody else with advice. My CD player has recently started rejecting new CDs. Not all, but it plays a thump,thump. These CDs play fine in my car. It is a Sony CDP-211. I know, old and cheap. DW says she has heard of a player cleaner. Have you? Does it work? Is my equipment obsolete? Thanks, Frank
