Wanted: blue sky vine, & dwarf cosmos
I have some nicotiana 'Sensation mix' seeds (they are SOOOO tiny) and also a dwarf orange cosmos 'cosmic orange'. Whatcha gimme? lol jk ;)
I did a search on ganzania and didn't come up with any thing did you mean gazania? If you did I have some that I would be glad to trade you.
Let me know.
Where is seymour? I am in the lower southwest corner of Michigan about 25 miles from Notre Dame.
I have several of the plants that you are looking for also, that I will be glad to trade with you in the spring, after I can unbury from the winter weather.
I also have seeds for some of them, if you would be interested in seeds instead of plants, either is fine with me.
Alice
Forgot to mention how wonderful your rocks are, they are gorgeous, you are very talented!!!!
Do you sell or keep for your own pleasure?
Aknapp, please excuse my spelling!! You are right, I need Gazania. Do I have any seeds you would like? I love to trade for plants!! Keep me in mind in the Spring. We are getting ice in the form of freezing rain, have'nt had much snow at all. I wish we had a little covering for protection for my plants.
Eco, I would love to trade! What are you looking for? I hope we can trade. Lou
oooo, the limerock ruby coreopsis or the tie-dye mg would be great. Do you know if the coreopsis comes true from seed?
Dispatcher, if no one has seeds for blue sky vine, contact me in the spring and I will root you one.
Didn't I post somewhere on this that I have blue sky vine? Also that if you told me how to get seeds from it I would do so? Or am I going nuts?
Molly
I have gazania seeds that I will be glad to send you, I am not at home at the moment, but will email you direct as soon as I get home.
ECOBIOANGIE- I bought this perennial last year and there was much discussion as to whether it really was a perennial, so I kept some seeds just in case it didn't come back, so I have no experience with growing it from seed. Lou
Heck, there's nothing as excitin' as an experiment! :)
MollyMc- I guess we may have to wait til spring and do cuttings since they say it doesn't have seeds in Fl. I will try to trade plants in the spring. Thanks! Lou
Dispatcher;
Our skyvine is growing up an ugly hacked off oak of some sort and beyond that it's taking the power/cable pole to the transformer and climbing along the power lines. In the next month we will be taking that tree down and the vine will end up getting cut at least to the top of the tree. I will pull the vines as much as I can and put them in buckets of water so they can root out.
This picture was taken on 12/30/03. The vine is now covering the transformer box, and growing over on 3 sets of cables. The tree we are taking out is behind the palm.
Rents pretty cheap on a sky vine (lol), so it can sit and root, no problem. I'll put you on my spring trade list, k?
Molly
That will be great! Thanks a million. Lou
