How long before a cutting can be made of a cutting.. I wish I had thought and read more before rooting these cuttings.. didn't know that we could cut them into two (well, I didnt think of it in time either). Is two, three months, etc.. a good time frame, or more like 6 months? How long do you all wait? thanks for any help here. If I had cut them in two, more of my cuttings would have made it, I think.
When can we take cutting off a new plant (cutting)
If there is an extra branch on a cutting it wouldn't hurt to cut it off and root it. I alway try to leave the leading stem alone until it Ys. If you cut it will just take that much longer for it to Y and bloom.
