For those of you that were thinking about sending flowers. Here is a brief excerpt from an email I received this morning from Ron, Gloria's husband.
"Gloria believed in living and going forward in spite of adversity. She would prefer no flowers or tears. Just give a warm hug to members of your family and to friends."
For those who knew Gloria, they will immediately know that this sounds just like her. What a dear and thoughtful friend we have lost.
Edited to add: Those that would like her address to send the family a card, just email me and I will send it to you.

Info - Gloria
I was thinking instead of flowers a donation to the American Cancer Society in Gloria's name would be so nice. I just know Gloria would love to know she was still helping people!

Donations to the American Cancer Society in Gloria's name would be a gift that would keep on giving......to so many people that may be helped in her name!
Where can we obtain her address?
Kell, this is a wonderful idea. Gloria was a giving person and I think she would approve and be proud of contributions made on her behalf that could possibly help other cancer victims in the future.
Kell I really think Gloria would approve. Her brother has also battled cancer and won thus far. I just left her home and they are having a party for her tomorrow there at her request. Friends are welcome to come by from 2 to 4 p.m.
Kell,
WONDERFUL idea and thought!
This is where I went to make a donation for a small group of us. http://www.cancer.org/docroot/DON/don_0.asp

My donations has been made to.
"The American Cancer Society will send a card acknowledging your donation to the person(s) of your choice. Enter the recipient's name and address".
Could someone please e-mail me the necessary and required information?
Thanks.
Shirley, it is all on the site up above I think.
The information wasn't at the Am. Cancer Societies' website, they asked for the information to be supplied.
However, I did find the information listed at B.G.I.
Thanks anyway for your help.
I just went to donate online. Once you start the process it will ask for all of that information. I guess what you were wanting was the family infomation and I wasn't reading closely enough. Sorry Shirley.
That's okay! It was her family's mailing address that I didn't have. Not a problem, I found it at B.G.I.
