Hope I'm not crossing forum boundaries here Dave, but there three or four vines/climbers I have been trying to get hold of for longer than I care to remember. Anyone knows where (and how) PLEASE let me know. They are:
Jasminum mesnyi - sometimes known as the primrose jasmine its a lovely yellow jasmin that I saw growing at the Royal Horticultural Society Greenhouses in southern England.
Petrea volubilis - sometimes known as the sandpaper vine, I fell in love with this plant when I saw it growing in the Botanical Gardens on the Portuguese island of Madeira. It is reputed not to set seed (I find that hard to believe), but may account for why I have never seen it offered.
Strongylodon macrobotrys - the Jade vine. Again, saw it growing at the Royal Horticultural Society. Only source I came across wanted £30 ($50) per seed !!! And I couldn't persuade the RHS to permit me "take" a cutting, even though I'm a member.
Thunbergia mysorensis. Again, a plant I saw growing on Madiera.
All help gratefully accepted

Tropical vines
i have some really kewl snail vines i just bought!
morning glories
sweet peas n a perinnial white one
cardinal climber
canary climber
honeysuckle
passiflora-2x
and a whole bunch of seeds that are going in the ground as soon as i can get back in the garden.
I just pounded 3 post in the ground and want to wrap some netting around them for the vines to grow up...cant wait!!
I also have been trying to get Petrea volubilis for years. I've had seeds twice from Chilterns but not had any luck germinating them and they are difficult to get. I arranged a trade for them once but never got them.
On the plus side, I got seeds of Streptosolon jamesonii in a trade, which have germinated very well. Hope writing that isn't the kiss of death!
And I ought to have plenty of seed for Passiflora subpeltata later - it's grown faster than any of my other Passiflora and has over a dozen buds. Had one flower out today, smallish, pure white, recurved petals, and one out last week seems to have set. And three fat seed pods on Passiflora antioquiensis from flowers in February - will they ever be ripe!
I sometimes see strange things on seedlists, eltel - I'll keep an eye open for your wants.
