Payne was due shots this month so we took him to a new vet. It is the vet that put Maya down..he was so careing and compassionate to her,my son and me. We've been talking about switching,but never got around to it. His gentle way convinced me to try him.
We took Rhodie as well so they could meet. The vet was wonderful with Payne...he usually doesn't do too well with men..he's a rescue that I'm sure was abused by a man before we got him.
Both dogs need to loose some weight. No surprise there. LOL Vet took out his "chubby chart" and told me how many calories they should have a day. They both weigh more then me so I'm not looking foreward to telling them the food bowl just got smaller. Which brings me to a question. I looked up Diamond pet foods to see how many calories are in a cup. Is a calorie the same thing as a kcal?? In the calorie area it said calculated metabolizable energy.
