Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning Everyone.
I'm off my regular work today. Yippee!! Since I work 4-10 hour shifts I call it my farm day. And it is suppose to get up to 44 degrees today!!!! On the other hand that means I should get the cattle fed before the mud melts so I won't have as much chance of getting stuck.
Welcome, MorningGlorious. 96 ewes is a LOT to me. That should really keep you busy when lambing. I don't think my numbers could possibly be that big until I retire. What breed of goats do you have?
I notice that one small farmer here has katahdin sheep in his pasture. I thought him to be a die hard cattle man. Maybe with the BSE scare sheep are the in livestock?
Leaflady, I have pimento peppers to plant for next year. I am anxious to try them.
