it is that time of year to cut my butterfly bushes back.i know i wont need all the cuttings and thought i would share them if anyone is interested. i have yellow, blueish purple,purple and pink i think not sure until i look at my pics again. sorry. but if you have anything you might think i would like in exchange please feel free to offer and if you dont then you can have these for SASE. if you want them priorty mail it will be 3.95 or is it 3.85 lol well anyway,and if not priorty i dont have a clue of how much it would be. i will wrap them in wet paper towel and then in plastic to make sure they dont wilt. so plmk if anyone is interested. i am interested in vareigated plants, verbascums,geraniums hardy impatiens and more

I"d love some moretz. This is one plant I can start from cuttings. I don't have any vareigated plants right now, except for some pepperomia, but it's too cold to ship that until it warms up a bit. I can do postage though, and would appreciate any you can part with.

Hi, 2 years ago I ordered a Black Knight butterfly bush from Henry Fields. I received a puny, little stick that didn't even make it the first summer. Are they very hardy? I did complain and they didn't refund the 7.95.

I have Black Knight cuttings available....gorgeous dark dark purple flowers on a bush with cream and chartreuse leaves.

I live in zone 6 do most people cut them back short or what?I love butterflies and would love to have one. Are there any smaller varieties to save on space?

And Pins2006, any butterfly bush can be pruned down to just about any size you'd like....they are VERY forgiving. Blooms are on the new seasons growth so pruning for size controll is easy. Prune early spring just as the new growth is beginning and than continue to prune off the faded blooms and any rowdy new growth you don't want.

Moretz, Tomblin, Pins, your cuttings are clipped and trimmed and ready to mail out. I'll try and get them in the mail on Monday. Till than I promise to pamper them and keep them fresh and ready to root for you. :-)

dont worry about it. i came on here to let everyone know that i have 4-5" of snow since sunday and this is the first day i got to get out without killing myself. all of my trades will be going out saturday. the snow is finally starting to melt and i can get to the bushes without falling. just wanted you all to know that i havent forgotten about you its just that this is the first day for it to start melting thanks for trading

Do you have any more cuttings? I have yellow/green pothos ivy and white/green(marble queen) pothos ivy. I also have baby spider plants, variegated and reverse variegated. LMK
I would be interested in purple and pink, yellow, and blueish purple in this order depending on what you have left.

I would love some of the yellow cuttings Moretz more only concern is.. how easy do they root? I dont want to kill the cutting. I havnt seen any of the yellow ones around here and I think its beautiful.

i dont know i havent tried doing any yet,but need to i dont think they would be all that hard maybe someone else could help you on this. i finally got me a heating pad i would love to try some that way but i havent had time to yet been cleaning pots and trays etc to get ready for spring.
