My Mom is doing pretty well. Today we had a short walk with the dogs. Tomorrow is her birthday. I did some purchases today: Flowers, diabetic cakes, chocolates and some seafood.
We will celebrate a small but hopefully nice birthday party for her:-)
Thank you again for all the prayers and good wishes! It helped.She is very ill but she feels fine.

Ludger, I am glad to hear that your Mom is better! My Mom is almost 85, a bad diabetic, but still lives alone, refuses any outside help or "advice". She lives about 30 miles NE of Atlanta,(Lawrenceville), & I live in Fort Pierce.I have 3 siblings who also live there, but when she needs care, she wants me to be there. I can appreciate your situation with your Mom, and hope she continues to do well.
Please tell her "Happy Birthday" from a Ga girl in Fl.

Mom is watching Birthday Greetings ( with Musik!!) a nice Daver sent to my Computer. She did not understand it exactly..:-) how and why she asked when she saw her name and the card. She cried when the musik started....
