Good morning folks,
I have decided that weather men are totally nuts. Their forecasts change by the minute almost. LOL A friend and I are going to go put in applications to be weather girls as it doesn't make any difference what they say is going to happen, it's never right any way. The pay is better, too. If they would look out the window once in a while, they might get it right. It was really cold yesterday, even Bubba's teeth were chattering. (the collie)
When I got home yesterday, it was 55 degrees in the house so I had to go into the basement and start flipping switches and kicking the furnace to get it going. That thing is older than the hills and one of these days, the poor thing is just going to die. Our house takes a long time to warm up as we have radiators, so I was walking around making supper with a blanket pinned around me. I felt like Wonder Woman with a cape.LOL My poor house plants were shivering too. Was wishing I would have had a pink blanket, I could have made them capes too!! LOL
Evamae, hope your travels are stress free. I will be thinking of you this week.
The seed catalogs are still coming, but I am making myself wait to mail them until February. Sometimes I change my mind and don't mail them, so it's easier on my pocketbook.
The only thing I ordered so far was floating row cover from Gurney's. With the $20 off coupon, I will get 50 feet of it for $1.85.
Gotta run. Just thought I'd check in and see how everybody was. The forum was kind of quiet yesterday.
