Hi folks - back up for air for a short bit.
Things are quite crazy here and with the upcoming interview I had to do some clothes shopping. Frustrating part - this is not the time to get something that will fit in ten pounds. It needs to fit NOW. So, a lot of money out the door, but I'm hoping I can alter things in next month, etc.
It did feel nice to get some good quality, nice fitting clothes. I have never spent this much in my life as I did this weekend, but everything is really nice (conservative business wear, business-casual side and a few casual items.) It was nice to just bite the bullet and accessorize on the spot - this goes with this goes with this and to walk out with 6 outfits or so to mix and match.
The diet is going poorly - but, more than that, I am frustrated with my avoidance of working out. No rational reason, just stubborness. Promises in the morning, but when it hits 7pm in the evenings and I've been at work for 11 hours and am exhausted, it's hard to go to the gym.
Oh well .... onward, I guess!
