It seems that all the plants all over the world are named (excepting daylilies and irises). What is up with brugs? Are they so new that the wonderful plants that you grow from seeds that are hybridized (sorry for the mispelling) are so new? I'm totally new to this and am just wondering. Thanks so much! I love brugs and have so very much to learn.

Naming Brugs
Carmen, each seed planted produces a new brugmansia hybrid. A lot of people grow them for a while, let them bloom two or three times or more, before they name them and some don't get names because they are so close in looks and growing habit of an already named one. Those are usually composted. People are working very hard now to keep everything straight, not name unworthy plants, and we are all trying to not pass a brug cutting on without knowing it's real name. The brug world is growing by leaps and bounds and we really do need to work hard at keeping everything straight. Growing seeds is a lot of fun, but it requires some record keeping. Hope this helps with your question.
