Hello from the frosty northern state of Minnesota. Although we live in the southeastern part of the state, it still gets cold here. We includes myself, my husband and three teenage boys out on our farm. We raise free range chickens, geese, goats, sheep, pigs, milking shorthorn beef and two guard donkeys for the sheep. There is no shortage of fertilizer on our part of heaven on earth. I am excited to be a part of this group. I expect to meet up with more new-found friends in the farm life section. What a warm and fuzzy place to come to on a cold, grey day...

Welcome to DG from a former resident of your stste. When I was a small child many many years ago we lived in Walnut Grove for several months and my Grandparents always lived in Wadena so I spent many summers in that area.
I now live as west in Idaho as a person can get without being in Oregon. I too have many of the same critters you have. I know you will love it here.
