Replacing a Class 2 transformer

I am at the end of my rope. We blew up a bunch of transformers during a power outage. One of them was to my Agfa SnapScanp scanner. It is not your normal transformer - output is 16VDC 900mA. I have tried to get some info out of Agfa. May as well talk to the man in the moon. I've tried Radio Shack, the local electronis store, looked online, even went to Leader Electronics Inc. site, but my Chinese is not what it should be and there was no Contact Us. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could locate a replacement? I have the model number.
