So far my way too wet hoophouse has not bothered my Creamsickle or its many pods. This is really a cool weather brug.
My poor RK baby pods have all rotted off. I am just happy that the mother plant is still doing well.
The single flower out front there is a Jesse Noel that is light orange.
My Creamsickle is blooming again!
Holy Smokes Kell!!!!!
Very nice, Kell !
You have to have some great double babies in those pods!
All good wishes for great Creamsickle prodigy (o:
Nice! Even Jesse Noel is pretty.
Very beautiful! Wonder why your RK pods rotted off? Glad to hear the momma plant is doing well.
Pretty flowers Kell. Wish they were here.
Kell very pretty, nice shot. What are you all doing up so early, even in a different time zone. Donna
So pretty Kell . . she has really dropped her skirt. Sorry to hear about your Rothkirch pods. I think you are taking it much better than I would have . . lol
Nasty, nasty Creamsickle, dropping her skirts like that. lol
Beautiful pic, Kell.
LOL Sylvia!!
Donna, I decided to pollinate in the hoophouse at midnight. Then I had to collect pollen from 5 different plants and only could find 1 clamp so had to come in and clean it between plants. Then I decided to try my new camera on the flowers out there. But after 20 minutes of trying to remember how to use it I gave up and got my old one. Of course on review after I downloaded, I didn't like some so out I went again. LOL. I went to bed after 3!
Kristi, the water just drips off the roof. I tried to put a heater in there but as soon as I turned it off, and I went back in there, it was so wet I was afraid to turn it back on. I open the flaps but as soon as I close them it just gets so wet. Lenticels were forming up and down some of my trunks. Funny though, only the RK little pods minded. The creamsickle must have 20 little pods and some much bigger ones
The reason I am not that upset about the little RK pods, though I had some great crosses, is because I have 4 big RK pods sitting there for over 3 months. Even though they are starting to look weird, Monika made me feel better last night and told me they probably are ripening! AT LAST!!

I hope, you will get some very nice seedlings out of these RK pods.
Those sure look good, Kell, hope you have lots of seeds inside each pod.
and I haven't forgotten you Gloria waiting!
Atta girl! Love ya.
Way to go Kell. Hope you get yourself some beauty's from them. Great photo ... they are both so pretty.
Good job Kell.
Kell try hanging a cheap fan from the center support to dry it up some. I keep mine going 24 hrs a day
I almost asked if you had a fan going? I have a small one in mine, runs all day, the lights would make it to hot without a fan.
No fan. I tried one and it got too wet. Now at night I put on my 1500 watt halogen work lights in there. They seem to be totally encased to protect from water. It seems to be helping to dry the plants out. Of course you can see my hoophouse for miles when they are on.
Wish we could share that moisture, my plants keeps needing watered!
How gorgeous Kell. I got a cutting in the fall but lost it. Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.
Creamsickle seems to be a very robust plant. She flowered for me until Mid December in a very cool Greenhouse. What surprised was, that the skirts dropped on all of her flowers.By knowing from posts, this seemed to be a problem.
