Wanted - Banana Peppers

L.A. (Canoga Park), CA(Zone 10a)

I would like some banana pepper seeds. These are the long, yellowish peppers with just a little heat (not nearly as hot as Hungarian wax peppers, which look similar). I only need to end up with two plants, so I won't need many seeds. Check my seed list to see if there is anything there that you'd like, or I'll send a SASE, whichever you want.

Kelli, it's your lucky day! I have exactly what you are looking for. It's a Hungarian pepper but with 1/4 of the heat of a Hungarian Wax. It's called Szentesi Semi Hot and it's a hybrid, so you'll get lots of big beautiful peppers from just one plant. I plant this every year. Since these are hybrid seeds, collecting the seeds from them is really not going to give you the same plant. So I purchase my seeds every year from Stokes Seeds. Since there's so many in a package, I can send you some. Still interested?

Yes, I'll give those a try.

do you want sweet or hot banana

What I am looking for is a kind that I had a few years ago. I think they came from the Totally Tomatoes catalogue, but I'm not sure. In my opinion, they were not hot enough to really be called hot, but were too hot to be called sweet.
