Hi from Belgium

Huntsville, AL(Zone 8a)

Hi all, I am new to DG. I am an American who moved to Belgium seven months ago due to my husband's work. I have been gardening on and off for thirty years (started as a child). I have never lived in as easy a place to garden (at least it seems easy to me). The grass is beautifully green without any fertelizers or any special treatments. It is quite a change from my last home in Albuquerque, NM. Both places are zone eight but oh how different.I can't think that the zones have much meaning. Looking forward to joining in on discussions.

Welcome from Twin Lakes.

Hi, Chris, and welcome to DG! It's definitely hard to think of Belgium and Albuquerque as both being Zone 8. Albuquerque is so dry -- have never been to Belgium, but I think of it as verdant and moist.
