second femur surgery

Punkin had his second femur surgery on thursday and is home with us now. He is walking but not on the leg that just had the surgery. He is dragging that foot behind him. I remember hearing from a vet here on this post and was wondering how long he/she thought it takes for the cat to start using his leg. I dont remember how long it took for Punkin to start using the other leg after the first surgery. He is sleeping alot now that he cant walk as well as before. Thanks, Robbie
