Me too! I fire my glass in a kiln. Am trying to finish a lamp, but so many things come before that. Hope I can finish it before I pass on!

Monika, what a nice surprise to receive from across the pond. I love working with my hands and I have wanted to do stained glass for a long time. I wish there was a place in my city to take lessons. Very pretty and unique and I know you will enjoy it for many years.

A very nice gift, BrugNanny. If there is any place near you that sells stained glass supplies they would know if anyone in your area could teach you. Just find somebody who does it and ask if you could learn from them, it isn't really hard to do.
We have a shop here that makes stained glass items . He has done it fore 30 or more years. I love this one of yours Monika, It is so beautiful, will you hang it in your green house with all your beautiful brugs?

Thanks Mary for the info. There is a Michael's that is about 20 minutes away in Houston and they sell all kinds of craft items and they do teach classes on certain things. I think I will give them a call and see if they have any stained glass classes.
Monika, I think you hung it in a very nice place. You will get to see it all the time when you are inside during the cold months.

Very pretty Monika. Hubby and I had to go out and find a stained glass studio for lessons....not that it wasn't on my list of 2004 "to do's", but we got lucky and there's a class starting in February about 5 minutes up the road! Thanks for the beautiful picture Monika!

I sent this to Monika as a gift but I didn't make it. My friend Heather makes these. Email me for her addy if you're interested. The price is $35 US plus $10 for shipping. She'll make them in most colours. I have one with 5 flowers in orange and one with 2 flowers in pink. I gave Liz one too. They are beautifully made.
