hey, i put in a note in another thread, but then i realized this and tropicals is probably where most of my friends and acquaintences are, so i'm posting another request here....
are there any of you who live in the houston area, willing to put up a couple of kids who will be working for me at the superbowl? i'm staying in the woodlands, but have a few kids who need somewhere to stay...hotels have not only gone up 4X their normal rate, but we don't even know if we'll make any money worth paying for a hotel...no one's made any promises.
i am willing and very happy to pay anyone who is willing to help..plus i'll bring great gifts! hehehe...at least i know what you all like??? hahaha...let me know...the kids said they have to stay in twos, or they'll be scared, and i understand...but they also said they only need a corner of the kitchen floor, and are bringing their own pillow and blanket, so not to inconvenience anyone...let me know, k???
you are all wonderful people, and i already know that, so i'm not waiting for your answer to decide what i already know to be true...ya know? no worries...none.
love you all, and hope there's someone out there who is willing and able, and who'd love to be everying to someone like me...or mom!

Houston members? I need help during Superbowl...
meiyu- i live in houston, i grew up here anyhow (go to school in lubbock) and i will ask my mom if she would take some kids--- she has mine and my brothers beds open since we are now both at school. i've been trying to get her addicted to this site (and have 'caught' her several times reading posts when i leave it up on the computer) so I think she'd be more than happy, since I trust you and she trusts me. Let me talk to her tomorrow, and I'm sure she'd be glad. We live no more than 10 min from Reliant.
I'm sorry meiyu, I must retract. My parents dont trust my garden forum friends as much as I do and have said that they wouldnt feel comfortable with it. So I'm sorry, I hope that you find somewhere for them to stay.
