Mini Brug

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

This is a Log cutting, the bloom was opening today,in the same time,an EE leaf decided it wanted more light, well now I have a crooked bloom,I thought this was TS,but it is already pink, even before opening.guess I have a batch of unknown logs,LOL!I will have to look for a tag under bench.
I tried a couple shots,I can not get the color to show with Fluorescents on.
Oh well, figured I'd give you all a chuckle while we are bored!

Starting to look more like a flower now. Poor thing.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Can't be bad if you logged up PINK!! LOL. You must have the touch to get it to flower so small and not even in dirt. Great job Root!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Looks great, Root. Lucky for you it bloomed so early. Better to find the name mix-up now than a year down the road.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Ya Root, I'd say you are really lucky to get a bloom on such a small plant. Brugs aren't like strawberry plants are they, in that if you let them bloom too soon they will not grow as well as if you cut off the bud. just wondering about that. Donna

It's funny Donna,a few months ago,I would snip this off with my finger, toss it aside ,and not think about it.
Now I am so Brug starved,I sit over it like a mother hen.
I joked about composting it,if it will bloom now, under light,I may just have to keep it.

It has been in just water, this morning it started to smell,so I gave it a shot of food.

(I could pollinate a Brug, just by putting a paintbrush up my nose)
