Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

This is what happens when a 4 year old gets bored and figueres out how to use your digi camera before you do.

Lol Draven! She's a smart cookie. Maybe if your good she'll teach you.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

Draven too cute! Too darn bad you didn't live around here. I also have a bored four year old little girl.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

she took about 20 pics and 5 short films, some of them are hysterical.
Ok Im going to get dressed and make an attempt at doing something today besides helping my butt to widen. Ill be back as soon as I can. Gonna try and pick up a puppy today for a friend of mine, shes been waiting for this pup since before it was born. Maybe Ill make her wait longer, If I do that I can get her a pure bred Boston for free. My sis's dogs, it wont have papers but itll be cute.

Beverly Hills, CA(Zone 10a)

She is too cute!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Your close up's are great Sue. I've got to figure out how to do the macro shots.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

What a great shot Sue!

Cute pic Draven. Looks like a real cutie

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

PoppySue that's exactly how my brain feels right now. 3 weeks of sever sinus headache can hardly stand to look at the computer screen. Dravencat she a living doll. Get her to teach you how to use your camera LOL.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

datdog maybe we should just fly them each half way, they could teach the stewardess' how to fly or something. Shoot she already believes she is a Princess thanks to MIL. Thanks guys she is a cutie sometimes too much for her own good.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

and looks like an immature brain at that!

LOL Sue!

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

here is a pic of the pup I picked up (now say that 3 times real fast) Thought I was kidding didnt ya. She is for my friend Carmen and her name at the moment is Butters

Thumbnail by Dravencat
Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

here is the first pic I took of her. LOL Isabelle really does need to teach me to use this dang ol' camera

Thumbnail by Dravencat
Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Great picture of them both. Butters will find it hard to leave your place and you all might hate to see Butters go.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

LOL Brugie, the hard part is going to be telling my DH NO when he tells me to go get another one. I want another chihuahua, a little girl that I will name Bruiser or Jaws or something that goes with Tequila

Thumbnail by Dravencat
Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Everytime I see this pic, think how much it looks like my immature seeds from a seedpod that fell off too soon.

Cute kid and dogs.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

WTG! I want a kitty, but not at my house.

I have 4 singing canaries and they wouldn't stand a chance, 'cause kitties like them too much.

Hey Dravencat, those are great pics of Butters and Tequila!
How do they manage to make all that Chihuahua cheese from those little dogs?!
This is Max, my blue ACD

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

And this is what's left of our newly sodded lawn.
Max has had a lot of fun peeing on it to see how much he can make it turn brown.
I think he plans to have it destoyed by spring, just in time for new sod on which to pee.
I guess this is why an Australian Cattle Dog needs pastures and a herd!
"Don't look at me, it's those cows!"
...Marking off two days on my calender to re-sod!

Love all the cute doggie pictures. I don't think Maxie would stand for another dog. She makes it well know that SHE'S the DOG around here!!

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

LOL poor sod. LOL Magellan I think they make that cheese with regular cow cream but have chi's running thru it cuz their little legs move so fast anyway. Especialy around here when someone says "squirrel"
Playsndirt I have house trained so many puppies, I get a pup and for one reason or another cant keep it or Im fostering it cuz it found me and then woop there it goes to a new home. One went to a family that just came back from Hawii(DH was in the service) and the mom new it was the dog for them when he came up to their 2 yr old and just licked him upside his face. The other I actually saw on tv, D.C. news channel was doing a spot on the possible muzzle law going into affect on pits and rots and they interviewed her and her new human(she was a boxer/shepherd mix) she was all happy chewing a stick, wagging her whole body and putting her nose on the camera lens. That was the coolest thing.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

OH Poppysue, Congrats on the forum photo of the day!

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

Now what color is that puppy? It looks like a tortieshell cat.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

LOL she is really brindle. her parents were a boston terrier and a sheltie mix. There is another little due anytime by another dog, pure bred bostons but no papers, If anyone close by wants one I can grab one for you. I can get one for free cuz its my sis' dogs.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Sue, did you pot any of these seeds up? I think I've read everything, but may have missed it. Was just wondering if you were going to try to get something from them.

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Brugie: What kind of camera do you have? Most of the digital cameras have a little "icon" of a flower. when you see that icon on your screen, you should be in macro with the ability to get within an inch or so. Gretchen

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Gretchen, I have an Olympus D-400 and I do have the macro capability, just have to figure out how to get it ready to shoot. I'm pretty good at growing some touchy flowers, but using a simple camera is sometimes more than I can handle. Go figure!!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Shirley: Great minds think alike! I have the exact same one... I can help you :) On the back panel there is a button with a silver star above it and a green star below it. Once you have the camera "on", press that button. The screen will come on on the back and you will see a little "flower" icon in the upper left corner. You use that screen to frame the photo, not the view finder. You have to be very still, as the camera is more sensitive to movement on close-ups. I can't wait to see some of your results -- have fun! Gretchen

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

This was the pod. I know it looks immature in the pic above but that was because the flash went off and the camera was so close to it. Seeds germinated fine and I have a few babies from the cross coming along now :)

Thumbnail by poppysue
Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Wonderful Sue. I was afraid they were immature and you would have trouble getting most to germinate. Hope you have some great babies from this cross.
Gretchen, thanks a bunch. I just tried it. Wow, that was simple. Maybe now I can take some cool pictures. And I thought it was complicated............Duh!!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Glad I could help you with something -- you have been so helpful to me!!! Enjoy!
