It is raining here and getting colder by the hour. It's suppose to freeze the rain and then start snowing. Joy, joy!! LOL We haven't picked up the new winter tires Jack ordered a couple weeks ago. Actually we haven't heard from the place to know if they even came in yet. If we get the predicted winter storm I won't be going to Powell Gardens Monday even if I feel up to it. Skyeblu & KathyJo, what is your weather like? I think this storm is suppose to be pretty well statewide.
I did more sneezing at work this evening than I usually do in a week. Now my head feels stuffy, my throat is scratchy and dry and I'm having more trouble breathing than usual. I tried to get ahold of my doctor today but she is out of her office until Tuesday. I'll go to the ER if I get really bad, which I don't expect to happen. I stopped on the way home and got a bottle of Sangria. That usually helps this sort of thing pretty quickly. No, I'm not a drinker. But I do know that wine or sometimes stronger stuff can really get you breathing better fast. I've killed several bouts of the flu with a bottle of Sangria, some cheese and crackers. Mogan David works too but I don't like it as well. I always check on any meds I'm taking to see if they are safe with alcohol. No need to play dangerous games. I have noticed that my little rat hasn't come out to see me today. I hope she hasn't caught this stuff I have.
The new freezer is in place but not turned on. Jack says it needs a battery for the high temp alarm and needs to be leveled first. But he is too tired to do any more for a day or two. We still have the rented one until next Saturday. We'll use the replaced one for a storage cabinet. I can put a lot of stuff in there and get it out of sight and somewhat organized. Some contact paper will make it look prettier too. It needs a bit more cleaning on the inside first tho.
I guess I need to go to bed. GOD bless and keep each and all of you. .
