also a fave passtime for his mother Bonnie. You go inside and beg for food 3-4 times within an hour and then hit the glidder for 4-5 hours of rest and relaxation!

then you peak into the kitchen window to see if anyone is standing on the other side that might feed you again if you come inside and beg a little more!

:) I love cats, I can't wait to move out of this house so I can get one of my own :) I want an orange one :)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Not all cats are lucky enough to survive right after birth or to find homes with good care. It is like a lottery game. For that reason, I rather prefer not to be a cat in my next life LOL!

Your cats are good looking.

Good point monika! that is why we should adopt rather then buy.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I love them also. All are pretty ones, David. They each have some tiger stripe in them. My favorite.

Cruelty to animals can only be accomplished by a very sick mind! I will never understand why a person (I use that term loosely) would kill kittens or puppies, instead of having the Female fixed, problem solved. Maybe a sick way of getting back at females. I want to come back as David's, Monika's, or Kell's cat, that is the life!

Boy, do they have it made!! Nice pictures David. I can tell they are well cared for.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Mr BB looks like he could be their brother. He was a stray that started geting in our trash for food. He spent his first winter sneeking into our garage for shelter.

Now he thinks he's king of the place with personal slaves to tend to every need.

Mr. BB is a cutie, Sue.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

He looks very satisfied - and well nourished LOL!

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Mr. BB does look like a king!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Yes he does, all he needs is a crown, he already has slaves to tend to his every need.

Ya know, I've never really been a cat lover. Then my oldest son rescued this Siamese that is probably the greatest cat I've ever seen. He named her Zoie! My son has now moved out and threatens to take her with him. I don't think so....she loves it here

She is in the middle of everything that goes on in the house and loves being outdoors when the weather is pretty. Here she is helping DH wrap a few presents on Christmas Eve. David & Poppy....your pics are great!

She is beautiful Brinda. Looks like my cat from years ago that we called Pepper.

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

my cat is a giveaway persion that shed way too much hair for her former family. She hasnt got much in the way of a friendly personality, but to be 11 years old and have no front claws, she wears the mice out in the winter, and will stand outside my bedroom door and insist that i come see her grizzly trophy at 3 a.m. :S sometimes she reminds me of the queen in snow white. cheryl

Thanks Shirley. She is a great cat. Like I said, I'm not much of a cat person, but she has won my heart. She is so funny and into everything possible. NEVER leave a cabinet door open or she will be in it. Even in the kitchen. I've come in many times when the kids have left cabinet doors open and she will be sitting in the middle of all the glasses or plates. Ugh!

I've got one about 10-12 weeks old that looks just like Zoie that i'd love to find a home for. He is a VERY affectionate cat. Loves to sit up on your shoulders and nudge his nose against you for a kiss. He's actually one of 3 kittens at my mom and dads house, one black and 1 morelike him but not quite as dark in the cocoa colored areas.
I may end up taking him myself, like I need another one but I have this thing for not being able to say no.

I love my animals like people and would allow myself to go hugnry before I would let them get hungry. We have a place in my local mall that is a non euthanization shelter for animals. They remain there until a home is found for them without the risk of being put to sleep. Anytime I go to the mall I always stop by and put money into one of the donation jars as the place is run strictly on donations,I don't go inside though because I don't like to see all of those animals caged up like that,it only makes me want to bring them all home especially the kitties.

This is Leroy,he's mine also but lives with my mom and dad.
Sorta siamese looking but not pure with crytal blue very crossed eyes.

this was my moms cat that passed away a little over a year ago,the only animal that I have ever known her to be close to in my 36 years.

His name was sonny.

I agree Tracey, people who abuse animals are sick. I am like David, I have never seen a cat I did not want to adopt!

LOL. I love cat threads. Maybe we should call this forum Brugs, Daturas and our Friendly Cats!

Our smartest cat is part Siamese. She was a stray at work and she got me to take her home. Gabby is what they named her at work, though here she hardly ever says a word. She stays pretty much by my side. She sleeps with her little head resting on my arm. We are in love. I have found older strays have made for the most incredible cat friends!

This is my Gabby, she sleeps on the top of my chair back when I am on the computer and she will reach down and pat my cheek every so often.

Awe....everyone has such nice cats. They all look so calm. I'm still waiting on that to happen.......
