I thought since there's not much going on in the way of posting lately that i'd bring up some old pics for some of the newbies who may not have seen them to look at.
It'll be great when we can all get back outside and play in the yards again and have lots to talk about.
This first pic is pink beauty
old brug pics
David it looks like you'll need to expand those bed next year! Did your Pink Beauty come from Logee's? I wonder if the Logee PB is the same one that everyone has.
Your pics look great. Nice way to brighten up the dreary winter.
Thanks David it sure does help brighten things up. Everything looked great. I love Antique Lace.
Nice pictures. Love the brug bed.
It looks like you had a great brug garden.
This winter is driving me crazy! I'm bored out of my mind, thanks for cheering me up bit.
What are you using as mulch in the last photo?
Looks great David!
How awsome david! I needed them pics, Great pics, thanks for sharing! I want SPRING! :D

David, just think what you'll have next Spring. Can't wait to see more of your pictures.
David your brug pics are like duct tape for my mind--------Im starting to fall apart here-------I NEED some sunshine, and some dandelines and maybe a even a bee sting, and a mosquito bite? I wanna playyyyyyyyyy outside again.... ok had to vent some selfpity here. nice pics. cheryl
All beautiful. I can't wait until spring.
Beautiful pictures, David! The Antique Lace cutting that I got from you is the biggest one of all my cuttings, with the most leaves. I just found some tiny little buds on it this morning.
WOW David, My babies from you are gonna look like that!!???
Now that's really something to look forward to.
Poppysue my PB did come ffrom Logees. I have compared my rosamond and PB and they are different. I'll see if I can find the 2 pics I used for comparison and post them again.
Playsndirt,on that particular bed I used wheat straw as mulch. Bought from home depot. I used it mainly for weed control.
Your VP is a beaut David. Hope you have pictures to keep us going through the winter months. We are to get 2-6 or more inches of snow starting tomorrow night and then our highs will drop to the teens. YUCK!!
Shirley that V peach is the one that you sent me as one of the very first brugs I got from anyone. It never did get much taller than what you see in that pic but it did put on a show with the blooms more than once.
I'm glad it did so well. Mine didn't get that tall.
Edited to say that mine originally came from Glory several years ago.

a few non brug pics. This one was taken in gatlinburg last week when I met Susie. This is in the Smokey mountains national park. This is about 45-50 minutes up the mountain. A little farther and I would have been at clingmans dome which is the highest point in the smokey mountains. The road going to that point was closed and under about 3ft of snow. When this pic was taken the wind was blowing about 40mph and it was probably about 10 deg.and my head was literally in the clouds.
Who are your friends, David? Cute little ones!!
Shirley, those 2 ladies are peekapoo, chihuahua mix. Sisters from 2 different litters, one 4yrs and one 5yrs. The chunky one on the left is Pansy 17 lbs and the petite one on the right is Patty 6 lbs.
All you have to do is say the words bye-bye and then figure out how they got to that door so fast.
Do they shed? I am looking for a great lil dog that don't shed to much (if any) :)
I love that view, David. It was 80 deg. here yesterday, and just once in awhile I would love some snow.
Sylvia, you can have what we are getting right now. Could be up to 12 inches tonight and tomorrow morning. I'm staying put.
Everyone, your pets are just adorable.
your brugs and pets are all beautiful! i agree with all of you that spring needs to hurrrry!! today was crazy though, 80 degrees and i was outside pulling weeds in my mom's garden all day, (im home in houston for the holidays).
but i have a funny story today that i had to share with yall
i went to a local nursury and i came across a section of about 50 brugs, and i saw a sign that said 'assorted brumansia, $9.95. and my jaw dropped. i started loading them into my cart one after another. before i moved on, i checked back at the sign just one more time to make sure it wasnt too good to be true. and wooooooe is me, it said 59.95 this time! aaah. :) hehe thought it was funny .
wowzer, those ARE small dogs, 5 and 6 inches tall? Those are just oversized hamsters lol
60 bucks art??? WOW!
i dont even know if thats a good price-- never tried to buy a grown one before. they were between 3 and 6 feet tall, some better than others. needless to say i put them all back
David, loved your photos. The brugs look so good. My PB wasn't as dark pink blooming in the GH as yours growing outside.
BB7551, I have a Llaso Opsa (sorry didn't spell that right0 who is 4 years old. She doesn't shed at all. Weighs about 12 lb. I take her to the groomers for trim every 6 weeks, costs me $25.00 but worth it.
We are having horrible weather. have had strong north wind for past 36 hours or so. Temp has dropped to 4 degrees and will get below zero before morning. There was about 6 or 7 inches of snow. The wind has drifted the loose snow. I must go and turn the water on a tiny trickle. Hope the rest of you don't this cold weather. Donna
