Is it possible to tell the name of the brug from thi photo. It's from a large tree that lives near me & I don't think the owner would mind if I took some cuttings. But what is it? My cat certainly loves it & it smells great!

I think we can see the structure of the blossom (calyx & corolla ) OK....... but a clear picture of the foliage will help ID (-:

Bambi:
I looked at your second photo and this one DOES look like a candida. It might be Cypress Gardens, if its a single trumpet. If a second skirt emerges from the trumpet then its a double white sp;ecies. I grow 2 double varieties, one with very large velvety, fuzzy leaves , the 'Knightii', and another double white with smooth narrow leaves. I don't know what cultivar this is.
I'm attaching a photo of the 'Knightii'. Notice the second ruffled skirt emerging a light yellow. When mature both ruffled skirts are pure white.
Your bloom looks like an arborea to me too Mainfrog. Is that not what it was labeled when you got it?
My mistake. I re-read what you wrote and you said your picture was from the net. I have no idea what Bambi has. Sorry for the confusion...it happens regularly around here anymore.
