WOW is this possible

montgomery, AL(Zone 7b)

We just got back from a 2 week trip & one of the brug sticks I stuck in dirt is hugh & Looks like it has
a Y. I transplanted to a 3 gallon pot & it has a teriffic root system. I hope it will bloom soon. I don't
think we lost a single one so far. All I rooted was above they Y. I do believe the ones I stuck down in dirt
did better than ones I put in water. It must be beginners luck.

Good for you. Glad they are all growing well for you.

Great! You are on your way.

Should I be putting fertilizer on the baby brugs while they are in the Greenhouse?
Will brugs do OK in the Florida Keys? My S-I-L there would like a couple.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

If they are growing well, I fertilize about half strength in winter. I am in Ohio, so mine aren't growing as well as yours at this time, use your own judgement, I would fertilize them at least every week or so, regular strength.

Would not know why they wouldn't do well in Fl. Keys. Maybe someone else down there could tell you.

Sugar, the Brugs down the street from me do just fine, and the Keys are just as warm, just as humid, I wouldn't see a problem.
