Does anyone have extra

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Seeds of Maya x Butterfly that they would be able to send me for sase or trade if I have anything you want. I had ten and they all came up very light and I don't think they are going to make it.

Honibee, Maya is known to produce seedlings without chlorophyll. You'll most likely get all white seedlings again. I got only one green seedling from an entire pod that I planted.

I have some seeds that Maya was the pollen doner.... Milk-N-Honey x Maya. Do you want to try a couple of them?

poppysue, I wonder if that one green seedling will transmit any variegation to its offspring?

HoniBee, I'd try the Milk'n'Honey' x 'Maya', sounds like an inspired cross, and you might get something interesting. Just so you know, when 'Maya' is used as a pollen donor, the seedlings are fine (not albino).

I killed it, John... It's history now. I transplanted the poor lil thing and didn't keep a very good eye on it. It dried out while I wasn't paying attention. It was prolly gonna be a variegated double pink too!

Oh, poppysue...that is a shame. Maybe next time? I doubt it was going to be a variegated double pink, with those parents maybe a variegated triple lilac...?

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Whatever.....we just know it was the special "one that got away"!

Lol - no point in crying over dead seedlings now ;)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have reported you to the brug abuse police Sue...you can run but you can't hide!

No use crying over spilled milk n honey...

Well, even if we don't have any brug blooms to sigh over right now, this forum is always good for a few laughs to brighten my day.
