My living room is dark paneling and like a dungeon in the winter. I would like to paint it a lighter color but am afraid it won't be washable or stay on the paneling . My DH and I both smoke (I know,I know) and I wash down the walls two or three times a year.
Taking the paneling off is not an option because underneath it is old horse hair plaster that crumbles if you even look at it ( been there and don't ever want to go back) any suggestions?
