My Goodness. Is is already the day after Christmas? That went by fast.
Yesterday morning was a whirlwind of cooking lots of traditional family food. Packing it in the car - with three baby goats and taking off for my oldest daughter's house. actually all the food rode with my youngest daughter and also all the gifts. My truck is on the blink so the baby goats rode in the back of the car. It's not a long trip, and my babies were perfect. My kids always get aggravated with me for being in such a hurry to get home to take care of the livestock. So I thought I would settle that and bring the some of the livestock with me. The Grandchildren helped bottle feed them. My SIL gave them some of his special llama feed mix. Steamed barley and what have you. They seemed to like it quite a bit. Hubby is going to the mill today and see if they have some goat chow to start them out on some more solid food. I can't believe how much milk they are taking now. I always get lots of corn, but don't think they are quite ready for that.
Hubby has to work today. I took the week off. Wish he could stay home with me today, but one day until the weekend.
Take Care
