I had a lot of fun with this last night.I had Ann convinced that this was real until she turned the flower upside down and the Chalice Vine flower fell out of the Brug.She thought we had a real winner with this one.

One look at the picture and I immediately recognized the Solandra Maxima(Cup of Gold) inserted inside the true yellow brug, so I figured it was a gag, which you said it was in a subsequent message. I grow both brugs and solandra and sometimes I'm asked if the 2 are related (they are not).

Yep mainfrog,most people on the forum recognize it immediately.The post saying it was a gag was just to insure that no one took it seriously.
Very nice Flower you have there.They are a bit special.
BTW....I believe Solandra Maxima is distantly related to Brugs along with peppers,tomatoes,potatoes etc.
