Its gorgeous but I don't think I would pay that much....
there's another one too but its not up that high yet....
price on Plumeria
Chik; You're right, very interesting. If you check out her feedback, you will see she has put a lot of money herself into plumeria seeds from Singapore. She does say the price will include the international portion of the shipping, but she doesn't even have the clipping here. It's only a clipping, not an established plant. She has 3 up for bid and none are at a price under $50 right now. But I have to admit, they are different the the common everyday frangipani.
I won a plumeria clipping at a bid from a nursery in Florida and it's doing fine, but I didn't pay much for it and it didn't get shipped all over the frozen tundra either.
Molly
a friend of mine was moving a few years back.
he's got a bad back, so I offered to ride up there (4hours one way) with my trailer and to move him, with all his belongings.
Well he knows I have a nursery and he was moving from a house to a lil townhouse in atlanta... so was obviously going to have less room. He gave me about 50 Plumeria in 6inch pots... they were all in flower and about 2ft tall.
I had no idea what they were or what they cost, so I pot them in my greenhouse, and proceeded to sell all but 3 of them for $5 a peice.
of course when I went to buy some more cuttings I was a bit suprised, and as such havn't restocked them.
live ya learn, eh?
