Thank you all.....

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I am so ashamed of myself this year....I did not send one Christmas card. So many of my friends from Daves and BGI have sent cards and I've enjoyed each and every one of them so much. Thank you for thinking of Jim and me. We really never know how lucky we are to have such good friends until things like cards and phone calls come in and then that good warm feeling goes through us. Thank you all. You are all in my thoughts. Happy Holidays to you all.

Happy Holiday to you too Shirley! I haven't got cards out either, I did get them bought, and then the flu hit. So now in the last two days, it will be nuts around here! Hope you are well and avoiding the Flu.

Brugie, the ecard you sent me was just as thoughtful as a paper card - and just as much appreciated - THANK YOU!

Merry Christmas to you, Shirley, and to everyone here. Don't feel bad about not sending out cards this year. Sometimes I get to them, and sometimes I don't! I'm sure everyone knows how much you care about them. I hope your Jim is recovering nicely from the flu.

Thanks everyone. Clare, he is doing well, but we are now the proud owners of a pharmacy at our house. LOL!! Gosh, we are wondering if he will find room for food or time to eat it after he has used the breathing machine and eaten all the pills. He says he is feeling better already, so maybe we will have a good Christmas with family after all.

Shirley, me too....................

Hope you and DH are ok.

Best wishes to both of you.!

Shirley, I'm glad to see that you can laugh:-) Holidays are a stressful time of year which usually makes us more susceptible to colds and flu. Just take care of yourself and take lots of Vitamin C so you don't get it yourself. Your email Christmas card was lovely with a cute little Christmas kitty!

Happy Holidays to you and Jim. Hope everyone recovers swiftly from the flu. Enjoy kids etc. These are the "Golden" years, it ain't gonna get any better!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Hibiscus . . how right you are regarding the Golden Years!!

Brugie . . I am glad that Jim now has meds and also the breathing machine. Did you have to hog-tie him and put him in the truck to get him to the Dr.?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Actually Frannie, he got up this morning and I asked him how he felt and his reply was that he thought he better go to the doctor. Can you believe that came out of his mouth. He is feeling quite a bit better tonight. Little by little, he will get there.

Thanks to everyone. I'm so blessed to have so many good friends here.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks everyone. I woke up today thinking about Christmas and all of a sudden it hit me...it is only a couple of days away!! I had to run to the freezer and get the ham out to thaw. Hope it has time. Company will begin to arrive tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to have to get moving before long. Everyone.......have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS, and most of all...remember why we have it.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Merry Christmas to you Shirley. Don't feel bad about the cards. I think most of us had better intentions than follow through. LOL I bought 2 boxes of 35 cards and actually only mailed out 23 cards. Sigh. Isn't it a shock the Christmas Eve is tomorrow???? Thank you for the lovely E card and the one you posted as well. I hope you have a beautiful (and healthy) Christmas. (((Shirley)))
