Question

Bel Air, MD(Zone 6a)

I have my two brugs in the basement. I cut them down a lot. Now they are sprouting and look nice and green. I have them in a window that gets a little sun. My question, do I keep them watered or let them go dormant?
Thanks for your informatiin Shirley Happy Holidays

If it were me, and since they are nice and green and doing well like they are, I'd keep doing the same thing with them. I'm not sure, but would think that when you cut them back, that would be the time to let them go dormant. I don't keep big brugs over the winter in the basement, so I'm certainly no authority.

You have to water them once in a while. The root ball should be kept mild moist NOT wet and have never dry out.

If they have plenty of light, and if it is warm, I keep mine slowly growing. Do not water them too much, or they will be weak and spindly.
