Big Batch Monster Cookies

Here is a great recipe for big peanut butter oatmeal monster cookies. I have been making it since I was a little girl (at least a quarter of a century ago).

This batch makes a lot of cookies so you might want to make some of that yummy eggnog, from another thread on this forum, before you begin this task ;)

Monster Cookies

1 T. vanilla
1 dozen eggs
1 lb. margarine (softened)
2 lb. brown sugar
3 lb. peanut butter (6 1/4 cups)
1 T. honey
4 c. granulated sugar
8 t. baking soda
18 c. rolled oats (one 42 oz package has 14 cups)
12 oz. chocolate chips
16 oz. M&Ms

Mix ingredients in order listed. Use 1/4 measuring cup to dip out dough - flatten on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool one minute before removing from sheet.

Makes 75-80 5 inch cookies (recipe may be divided)
