Thinking of making baklava this year adn have searched and found a few diffrent recipes for this traditinal greek pastry. I also have a recipe out of a older cookbook, which call s for using zwieback crumbs in the nut mixture.
anyone made this and have the perfect recipe.
I have noticed that some call to add the syrup after baking and some at the end of the baking and you bake the pastry after adding the syrup for a few minutes.
any comments would be appreciated
