To a secret Santa :)!
What a lovely, unexpected surprise!
Thank you!
Santa hopes you enjoy it; don't already have a copy; and will share your successes using it.
I will...I don't....will love to share...thank you so very,
very much! :) Explains everything very clearly...a joy to
read and look at! Thank you Santa!!
What what what???? What did you get???
I gots a book! :)
What book???
Druse, Ken
Making more plants : The Science, Art, and Joy of
Propagation. Clarkson Potter, c2000.
An excellent book
I've never seen a book that explains the process so clearly
in easy to read English and with beautiful pictures.
Some water lilies will be heading Santa's way come spring :)
How on earth did I miss out on this fun???? Too busy hangin' around ebay, I guess.........I found an interesting site for collecting......Ruby Lane antiques and collectibles. Have fun! Elaine
Thanks for bringing that up Elaine...some china was broken
in the fire so I'll look there for replacement pieces :)
What kind of china?
One set was Wedgwood...no pattern name on the plate...
turquoise blue and cream...fruit in the middle with
mythological creatures on the outside rim (belonged
to my Grandmother)
one set was Royal Albert "Highland Thistle"
one set Dad called "Bell n' Heather" (he may have the
name wrong) I will have to look at it to check that and
which Royal whatever it is.
Edited to say if anyone sees esp. the "Highland Thistle"
please let me know...it was their favorite and I'd like
to track it down.

You bet. Will keep a look-out.
Thanks echoes...I really appreciate that! I've checked
the stores around town that sell pieces they've picked up
at auctions but no luck yet...also looked at ebay (quick
scan) but didn't see them.

Thanks Elaine...I will explore this site in the upcoming
week! :) A very Merry Christmas to you and yours!
You might ask these people Pam, they have an incredible inventory of discontinued china. They're in North Vancouver and have a toll free number.
