I have a ten year old Rott/Dobie mix that weights 68 lbs.
My daughter took her to the vet for me and she had an ear infection that has cleared up nicely. She also has hip problems that at her age can't be fixed. The vet put her on Deramaxx. I have been reading about it and am not happy with what I read. There are all sorts of side affects such as ulceration of the stomach, kidney problems, heart problems. I really want to gve her something for the pain she is in but can't give her this. What can I give her that is less problematic?
