Today I found some calla lilies I bought this fall (or could it have been last spring?) and planted them in pots. They look a bit dried out but maybe that is normal for bulbs in plastic bags with holes in the bag.... Now I am wondering if I should keep them in the basement at about 50-52 degrees until they break ground or leave them under the greenhouse bench next to an outside wall where they will be at about 50 degrees at night and on cloudy days but much warmer on our frequent sunny days. I think the greenhouse will be too warm for them. I put them into damp potting soil but haven't watered them yet, should I? What do you think? I need a Calla Lily 101 course here.
Planted calla lilies in pots, is gh too warm?
Here is some info that might help.
